I received my BSc Physiotherapy (Honours) from the Universityof Witwatersrand in 1999 and my MSc Physiotherapy from Stellenbosch in 2009. I completed my BCom Sports Management in 1995 from  RAU and my BCom (Honours) Industrial Psychology from UNISA in 2005.

My Private Physiotherapy and Biokinetic practices concentrate on out patients, pre/post-surgery rehabilitation and sports injuries. I have a special interest in back and neck rehabilitation including cranio-sacral therapy. I have assisted and lectured on the SPT course (JHB) in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018 including OMT 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, currently, 2019 on the Johannesburg course.

I have been a member of the PhysioFocus committee since 2009 (representing the private sector of the South African Society of Physiotherapy). I am currently Deputy Chairlady of the PhysioFocus committee. I represented PhysioFocus on the National Executive committee from 2011 to 2018.

I represented the SASP as the member organisation representative on IPPTA (International Private Physical Therapy Association) 2011-2018. I currently represents the SASP on SAPPF, South African Private Practitioners Forum.

I was nominated as secretary of IPPTA at the Geneva General Meeting in May 2019.

I was named the South African Council for Businesswomen's Professional Businesswoman of the Year in 2011.  In 2018, I was awarded the South African Council for Businesswomen¹s Professional Businesswoman of the Year award in the Growth Category.

My extra mural interests range from the creative through to environmental, sporting and social concerns.  I have my Advanced Divers SCUBA Diving Certificate and have a passion for photography, gardening and
my children.
